Our Commitment to Earth

Engineering a Sustainable Future

Founded in 2023, Toto Chemicals and Energy was created to convert discarded resources into high-performance renewable fuels. Led by Toto Julius Mbenyana and Andre Labuschagne, the business draws on decades of Sasol technical and senior management experience.

Our Mission

To manufacture a reliable product in South Africa while respecting the communities with which we work, particularly our employees, the most valuable resource in any business.

Our Vision

To be the largest producer of used cooking oil biodiesel on the African continent, leading the transition to bio-based industrial energy solutions.

The Circular Advantage

Toto C&E is currently focused on used cooking oil biodiesel at commercial scale. South Africa's biodiesel strategy and blending regulations make circular feedstock recovery a practical route to cleaner industrial energy.

  • Reduces carbon footprint by up to 80%
  • Empowers local collectors in townships
  • Engineered for African infrastructure
